General Hospital - March 9-14, 2018 Episode Reflections

So with a chaotic weekend for the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show, I did not get a chance to watch Friday's episode. I did see the Jason and Sam clips from the show (thanks @JMQFF).

Jim's confession for Drew and Sam did not surprise me as obviously he'd try to do whatever he could to continue to cover his tracks. Frankly, it is just making him more suspicious - which it did in watching Drew go see Franco afterwards.

Jason and Elizabeth's scenes were everything. Jason's honesty about the Franco situation was just perfectly on point. Even the touch of anger expressed to her in what happened and why he can't move forward - just hits you to the core. I mean, that's why those who have been here from the beginning cannot ever forgive him.

Of course, Liz would come over to overhear the conversation. I mean, it's right up the alley for her character since we know that she can't keep her nose out of business that doesn't concern her, right? Hence why sometimes, I actually laugh at her being with Franco and call it perfect karma.
Now, let's get into this week, shall we?

March 12, 2018 Episode Reflections

The fact that Sam knows that she doesn't want to keep lying gives me hope that the #JaSamReunion2018 is around the corner. Besides, like she says, "I know time isn't going to change how I feel." But like always, Jason is just perfection because his response, "You have to trust yourself, even if it means doing nothing. Don't worry about me. You have to take care of yourself, your kids" was beyond anything. Jason knows it'll happen when the time is right and continues to put her first.
It's like his encouragement to Carly in saying, "You're strong. You can get Sonny through this" and the fact that he "will tell you as many times as you need" when she asked for reminders. I love the #jarly friendship. By the way, I practically giggled when Carly said, "I need a distraction." Oh we got the perfect story for you, Carly.

I couldn't help but smile in hearing Carly say, "I gave her a bottle of water and talked her down. I still despise her the same" because we know how Nelle is, right? That said, Jason's response about Franco in saying, "I know what you mean. Sam and I saved Franco. I still hate him regardless" was perfect, too. I'm glad to see feelings haven't changed.

Carly's reaction to "Sam talked me into it" was perfect with the raised eyebrow. You had to know she wouldn't stop after asking, "Sam was there?" That said, Carly's reaction matches that of the entire #jasam fanhood.

Jason brushing it all off by saying, "Just cause we said we love each other, doesn't mean we're getting back together" almost makes me wanna laugh. Like Carly said, they'll "figure it out." It's just a matter of time until the #JaSamReunion2018 happens.

Liz saying, "That's not the Franco that I know" immediately made me laugh. Let's be real here. There's a lot that you don't know, Liz. I will say that Liz's response with, "you can't say a lot about honesty" has me intrigued me for the future of things. Does Liz say something due to her spite against Sam for the comments? I mean, Sam did not stop with Liz - and it was great to hear her have a voice finally. Nothing more satisfying than hearing Sam say, "What if the brain tumor is just a convenient excuse?   You've spent your fair share of time lying to people, but not as much as you're here lying to yourself."

Sam thinking back to the confessions, knowing that Jason said then as well as now things will be okay no matter what happens moving forward, is perfect as she contemplates what to do next. She knows she wants Jason....

So Franco saying, "I don't believe it went down how Harvey said it went down" makes me laugh when Drew replies without pre-justice, "I believe you." Of course he would. But actually here I think he's right. That said, Drew replying, "If we find out it's true, I'll make sure you never see Liz or my family again" was intriguing. I mean, really, you'd think he would've stopped Franco already in his tracks. What about Sam? It's like Drew knows Sam will move on with Jason so he looks towards Liz......makes confession time that much more lovely.

Valentine's lying is going to catch up with him - it's just a matter of when he is going to slip up. Given what we've seen, it'll probably be with Nina. I really don't get his involvement, either, other than the fact that he is probably using this as a sick mind game with Peter and Anna it seems. Like he goes to Peter, "I've got your back, just like I've always got your back." But really, he's lying straight to him because he knows Anna is his mother and won't say a word.

By the way, there was a lot of spite across the board in this episode and it's great to hear. Even the reminder from Sonny to Ava, "Morgan is my son and he's dead because of something you did. I won't forget that" was perfect.

I almost freaked when Franco said, "Who cares about Sam?!?" I guess it doesn't matter to you Franco that she's the reason Jason saved your ungrateful ass.

When Liz answered, "No, we are not" to Franco asking if things were alright, I almost wanted to pick my jaw up off the floor.  It's a shock. Elizabeth finally sees the light. It only took her long enough. I mean, Elizabeth's reaction to Franco's behavior is just shake head worthy at the best of times. The fact she missed so many signs is just ridiculous. But sometimes with the crap she pulls, I feel she belongs with Franco. I mean, who tells Jason to just accept what Franco did?

Liz asking, "You lied time and time again, so how can I trust you?" was laughable. Honestly, I would've walked away after the first lie Liz, but I guess you're attracted to that considering your own lying history. I mean, why get with a guy that kidnapped your own kid at one point anyway?

Intriguing with Jim dropping the charges against Curtis. You think he'd want to keep Curtis locked up to not figure things out.

You'd think Olivia and Carly would be wary of Nelle listening. For the record, I'm all for Nelle having a new love interest.
Of course the new guy is Finn's brother.

March 14, 2018 Episode Reflections

Sam probably not too worried about Drew's extended veecay. I mean, she gets more quality time with the real thing now. But yes, great secrets between both Drew and Sam lately.

But on a more honest note, Jason, baby, you can't go to Europe. You need to stay here and help Sam since Drew isn't worthy. But once again, there's a MAN as he isn't pressuring her into a decision and he's willing to give her space, make it easier on her despite painful for him.
My heart immediately warmed in Sam saying, "Aside from my kids being born, you coming back is the greatest gift." Keep the truth bombs coming, because let's face it - she went one step further. Her saying, "I've been trying to make things right for everyone else, I haven't stopped to see what I want" confirmed everything. She only stayed with Drew to make him feel better, to help him, knowing he needed the support and couldn't do it without her. Glad she's finally standing up for herself.

Jason's words, "You're going to figure this out and no matter what you decide, I will fine with it because I trust you" speak so much to his character. Continually willing to sacrifice his own wants and happiness for her. And people say they can't like him. Like wtf?

Sam's babbling like always was everything.....

It is great irony in watching Sam's husband hang out with Sam's assaulter. But really, based on Franco's reaction, I think Jim abused him as a kid and made it appear he did it.....so now the redemption attempt #3921 is that he was a victim of child abuse and it made him that way? Sorry, I still don't forgive Franco for what he did.

So just how long is Peter going to walk around pretending?

General Hospital - July 6-10, 2018 Episode Reflections

So is it a surprise that Nelle isn't believing a drop of how Michael left there to go see Jordan and Chase? She knows to always be suspi...
