General Hospital - February 13-14, 2018 Episode Reflections


It goes without saying - General Hospital hit all the spots for Valentine's Day across the board. Let's just say that my soapy heart is complete as we begin this.

Welp, overall I have to say that @GeneralHospital was very interesting. I found yet another reason to hate someone after trying to give her some redemption, but was entertained in other ways. It's a decent episode, 

So our latest tea spiller is here, courtesy of Ms. Robin, which is no surprise. Her words, "I really hoped Sam would take a step back and evaluate her feelings. It's a really complicated situation, but actually simple" were just perfect. Really, Sam just needs to follow her heart and desires. But Robin also made another good point in saying, "If she were to abandon Drew just because u came back, she'd feel disloyal. It'd make every time that she said she loved him a lie." It goes along the lines of my Sam reasons.  A feeling of disloyalty and now owning her vows/promises.

Jason's response to Robin's words with, "Now you sound like Carly" were perfect, but Robin saying, "That should tell you something" was even better. Everybody except Sam can see it. Even Jason can to by his eye expressions, and the eye roll that he gave Drew. 

Of course he would get the candy heart that said "Real Love." Oh #GH, great job once again with your foreshadowing.

It's good to see that Michael is realizing the games that Nelle is playing in asking Jason, "Did my mom ever use me to get closer to you? Because that's what I think Nelle is doing for me." But unlike Michael and Nelle, there's never been any doubt in the #jarly friendship as they've always been close - even with the rocky Robin moments. 

Michael is right in saying that "she's counting on the baby to draw us back together" because everybody can see that. Now Jason asking, "Do you think that could happen?" with Michael responding, "I would like to say no" scares me because if the plan wasn't working at all, he just would say no. But adding that "would like" means she's doing what she wants to do in striking those vulnerable cords.

I loved Jason's advice for Michael in saying, "I would not try to make a family with someone that you can't trust, because that just sets you up for failure." But overall, I loved this scene with Jason and Michael. This is the type of stuff that I've missed - their bond together. Nice to see us getting to that. Clearly, the advice set in as he went and told Nelle, "I think for both our sakes, I'm sticking to my original plan." Then following it up with, "I think it is best for the child for us to set some boundaries." was perfect. Let's just hope he doesn't recant this later, and actually sticks to his guns. I mean, if I was him, I would've skipped the child birth classes, too. It's just another opportunity for her to dig her nails into him. 

I laugh at Nelle saying, "This is just a momentary setback." Isn't that two setbacks for you now? First the baby naming, now this? Sounds like you're losing all angles.

The stare that Jason gave to Franco was perfect. Love seeing Jake and Jason together, though. But leave it to Jake to make for the most awkward moments in just two simple lines - "I couldn't have done it without Franco's help." & "Are you coming to the wedding?" I can't wait till Jake finds out everything down the road. On that note.....

This really surprised me today. Firstly, Franco can continue to blame your brain tumor, but we've seen you do evil things since then. He also crossed the line with his Sam comment. Sam has never been afraid of Jason, nor will she ever be afraid of Jason. He is her safety net. Why do you think she's came to him a couple times despite pushing him away for Drew's sake? But great comeback from Jason! 
I laughed at Liz saying, "You can't watch me marry Franco?" I mean, what do you expect after everything that Jason has been through with the man? But again, he hit the nail on the head with saying, "Its your life, your choice, but if I went, it's the same as lying to Jake and saying it's okay when it's not." I'm glad that Jason is sticking to his guns. It's about time that Franco is put in his place. 

Welp, that's a big fat lie, Liz. Sam still despises Franco and tells him that when they do cross paths. Do we need receipts? Just look at the last time that Sam spoke to Franco and said to him, "You may not be legally responsibly for what you did for me, but I will carry those scars with me for the rest of my life." But yet according Liz, Sam is totally over what happened.
Secondly, Michael and Franco never see each other. 

He's just supposed to forget being tormented for years? He's supposed to pretend that time hasn't stood still while away?  Jason was the biggest victim in this whole takeaway mess, but since returning, it seems that everybody wants to bag on him - Sam, Drew, Liz. Ridiculous

Really, there's been some really low moments in GH history, but this is an all-time low. I used to say that I wanted @GeneralHospital to #freeLiz since there was #nofriz, but after those lines today, frankly, she deserves him if she wants to think that way. So Elizabeth be Franco and get hurt eventually, and coddle him. It'll be good karma.

But here's something to think about - what if Franco is still obsessed with Jason? What if that's why he wants to get so close to Jake? Doing something like that would be perfect, too, considering Franco's original obsession - especially if they want to go back down that Franco is evil route, hence the hints of signs they've shown with things he's done, and not being able to let go of his past. The other factor to think about Franco's original obsession - what if he was really obsessed with Drew due to growing up together, and not Jason?

So I couldn't believe when Elizabeth uttered the words to Franco, "the art world freed you from the past to start your life over." Ha! That's why we're talking about his past over and over. 

The father-son storyline with Sonny and Mike has me intrigued at times, but other times just wanting to gloss over it. Sonny is laying down the law in saying, "Mike is in some kind of trouble and I'm not letting him go home until he tells me." Really, he should've stuck by those words - but oh wait, I'll talk about that later. But based on what we've seen, I think Mike is slowly losing his mind here. 

On the flip side, that Valentine's Day scene with Avery and Sonny was adorable.

I honestly laughed at Drew saying, "Some of the best things in life are worth trouble." I would agree - even if that means you're out of the picture soon.

So for a Valentine's Day edition of @GeneralHospital, it was beyond perfection. So many great moments across the board - esp with Danny and Jason.

I could watch Danny and Jason all day. That was the cutest "Valentine's Day scene." I mean, who can say that the card wasn't just perfect? 


I love how Jason asked, "How many Valentine's do you have?" and our little player goes, "Three, maybe four...." Can' say I'm surprised as he's a charmer. Of course, the response of "Do you have a Valentine?" broke my heart for Jason.
That said, notice how Jason didn't answer who he totally missed? Yeah, doesn't want to break Danny's heart. But I wonder if he is picking up on it - hence the "want mommy" line.


As soon as he picked up Jason's phone, you had to know that "Mommy, can you come over? I don't feel so good...." was coming. He is the perfect matchmaker.

It's the small things, people. Samantha marries Jason and becomes "Samantha Morgan" but keeps her last name and becomes "Samantha McCall Cain" now.


So GH is playing every part of this perfectly. Get Griffin to tell a story and have him say, "Saint Valentine’s faith in love made him immortal. Love never dies...."  as they show #jasam staring at each other. Can you say preview for the future? Really, Jason's almost immortal, considering he's come back from certain death, among other battles through the years. The "faith in love" is always knowing that Sam would fight for him, push him to be there.....

Danny was so adorable and perfect at this. I mean him saying, "Mommy and Daddy, can you both do it?" melted my heart.
Seeing Jason read the story with both him and Sam in the bed with Danny in the middle - that was everything. That was just beyond perfect. Been waiting five years for magic like this. Thank you matchmaker. Oh, and beginning the story with "Once upon the time...." as they look at each other - yep, perfect visuals....
By the way, anybody notice Sam's eyes as Jason left the room? Yeah......


So can I punch Drew? The attitude was no reason at all. That was ridiculous. Couldn't believe how he accused Jason over Danny's phone call. But I did laugh about him spending all that time in the car.

But okay, let's laugh at the guy for a second as he goes, "You keep saying that you're taking yourself out of the equation, but you're still here..." Well of course. Jason will always be involved in Danny's life, no matter what. Deal with it buster. You knew that agreeing to marry Sam.

  

Then Drew goes, "You're actually passive aggressive. Just admit you're like everybody else...." But of course, mic drop, boom goes the dynamite, as Jason's return was perfect in saying, "I'm just living my life. And it's up to you how you deal with that."

But seriously, what did Jason do to Drew to deserve this shade? It's ridiculous! Jason offered you information Drew. He told the story of what happened so you wouldn't go to jail. He stood back while you married his girl, not fighting Sam against it. He let you keep the penthouse. He let you keep the money. Not once has Jason pushed Drew but yet Drew has this attitude against him constantly. Like what?

So Nelle drugged Michael's father, but figured that they'd get back to magical moments with him? Yep, she's insane.

"I think we are the only uncomplicated couple in Port Charles." You just jinxed yourself, Molly.

I almost hated seeing Mike interrupt the #carson love, but I'd like to see them get to the bottom of Mike's deal. And really, Rita will be more grateful to see you sort out the family problems, rather than the Valentine's Day worries. She wants to have a life with you and she can't do that if you're stuck in some other deal.

Sonny is right to ask, "Don't you think something else is going on?" The forgetfullness from yesterday has me concerned for Mike, and makes me wonder what direction we're headed. Father losing his mind? I'd have Max follow him in case right now.

Love the small confession of Carly and Sonny's love with "It's very hard for me to sleep without you beside me...." 

Sure, Jordan should take a break. I mean, it's not like she does much police work anyway.

General Hospital - February 12, 2018 Episode Reflections


Another solid episode of @GeneralHospital today. Most of it I would throw in the trash, but Kristen Storms was purely amazing enough to save the entire show. Pack some tissues, and be prepared to cry a little - but enjoy at the same time.

While Maxie may be a little out of line in her accusations as Nathan did agree to the interview and knew the risks at hand, can I just say that Kristen Storms is knocking her rant out of the park? The emotions, how she's going about it - are just perfect.

That said, as Maxie brought up selfish reasons, love how they cut to Peter. It was Peter who put the Faison idea in Lulu's head because of his own selfish reasons of going after his father for revenge. Once they both find out his story, can they kick his ass?


Kudos to the General Hospital lighting department, by the way. Maxie's apartment was done perfectly to replicate the feelings of loneliness.

Hearing Maxie's dad say "Take care of our girl, please...." made my heart swell. Spinelli was always great at doing that.

"Your mother is right - you shouldn't be alone." "But I am." You don't have to be. I mean, I know it's wrong timing and such and maybe shouldn't be pushed, but your true love could rescue you. That said, the offer to go home and see her daughter, spend time away was certainly a surprise - and certainly not the best Spinelli approach. Running away doesn't solve anything - it just prolongs it. But seeing Maxie and Spinelli discuss Georgie, and the chemistry there for a second, has me wanting to possibly see them try again.

Lastly on Maxie, nice touch by #GH in having Maxie wear Nathan's sweater, and talk to the baby as a closer....

Also - how can Valentine give Lulu the glance that he gave her of despair when he is involved and knows Heinreck/Peter link, and  how he is connected to Crimson?

Drew saying that "Franco makes him feel uncomfortable" - that shouldn't be a surprise. I mean, you have Jason's memories and everything that he did to him. You know what he also did to your wife. You know how your wife feels about him. You never should've made amends.

"Anything?" "Nope...Appreciate it." Whose to say that Drew is lying because this would open a whole new can of worms?

By the way, I'm beyond annoyed of Sam babying Drew every single moment, esp in relation to Franco, the man who essentially raped and tormented her life.

Anna's words "Heinreck's trail is as cold as Faison himself." made me laugh, because it's so obviously right now on so many levels and let's face it, clearly you guys are missing the clues that are right in front of you. There's been countless stuff, from new guy in town to odd timing and locations.

"You kept the secret because you loved me...." "And hated you at the same time, but couldn't bring myself to destroy you." Valentine likes the game of cat and mouse with her because secretly, he still crushes on her.

"We're all family at Aurora." "That's a nice sentiment," The hints are just getting ridiculous now.

"I think you underestimated Jason Morgan. You coming and going from Port Charles is going to be peek his curiosity." Another person not realizing just how smart our boo is? Shocker! But Valentine does make a point.

"Nathan is collateral damage, and that's unfortunate. But now is not the time to jump ship." The way Valentine mentions Nathan's death to Peter - compared to say Nina and others - almost makes me want to smack him. How much is he involved?

"If Oscar didn't step in when he did, our friend would've been seriously hurt." "I don't care about your friend. I care about myself." Well, that seemed a little heartless.

"Sonny a friend of yours?" "Not exactly?" Seriously Kim, do you not know how to use Google, the internet, read a newspaper? How can one person be so dense in relation to Julian?

By the time this story is done, nobody will be left at Aurora. First Peter, now Lulu....

Kim lecturing Drew about fighting? Robin thanking Jason for killing Faison? Michael selling the building that Nelle is living in? More to the Sonny and Mike storyline? Yep, I'm here for tomorrow.

General Hospital - Memorable Past Jasam Clips


Nothing like getting caught up in a marathon of old clips and end up staying up the whole night.......

 That said, it's that time again to look back some of our favourite #Jasam moments

1. A beautiful necklace, and always together in perfect harmony.....

2. All the heartbreak and pain that she went through to get pregnant makes Danny that much more special to them both together. And being able to experience future #jasamiel scenes will mean the world.

3. "I know what my life is like without you, and I want you in it." 

4. Even when they were at odds, their chemistry was off the charts.

"In my heart, I will always choose you, Jason." "I'm always good at cleaning up everybody else's mess, but cannot seem to clean up my own."  "I'm ready to jump in." 


5. I'd rather spend the night in too, and yes, she does look cuter with the hat. 

By the way, hands down, this is the best New Year's General Hospital has done - well, maybe except for their reunion this past year 

6. Back when their crazy adventures combined with love made for great daytime tv, when General Hospital had a unique soapiness compares to other soaps. 

7. Jason doesn't express his feelings openly, or easily. That's always been his way. But when you back him in a corner and those feelings have to show, holy emotional overload. 

8. "Maybe I should love them enough to let them go..." 

Talk about consistency to what is happening now, and the fact that Jason is willing to sit back and let her live with Drew - should she went that - despite longing for her badly. Also, this dialogue also tells me one other thing. If Sam were to say, "I can't handle the mob life with you, despite wanting to be with you..." that it's not as easy as Drew made it seem, and Jason would understand.

9. "They're the number one couple on the show, and they haven't even had a love scene - and it's a soap! I think that's just amazing." 

That's how powerful story telling was, along with the sweetness in simple words. And it's that history of the couple that drives this reunion.

General Hospital - February 7-9, 2018 Episode Reflections


The past three days of General Hospital made up for the beginning of the week, as there was lots of action and emotion to take in. Certainly some new favorite moments, and certainly some accolades to be given to the actors, actresses, and everybody involved with the show. It's a good time to be a soap fan.

February 7, 2018

So the fact that Sam and Drew are planning a trip to Thailand doesn't bother me one bit. I mean, frankly, I get annoyed when I see Drew so he can stay off my screen voluntarily. But the fact that Sam goes, "We can make up for the honeymoon we didn't have." Let's see - you were gone for a week. Wasn't that enough? And what did you do then?

So Ned goes on and tells Drew, "We will always have your back just like we had Jason's." Frankly he makes me wanna squirm. Do I need to go into the General Hospital vault and display how he and the Quartermines messed with Jason's life through the years? I'd rather have the bond that Jason has with CarSon then that. 

Peter is dropping so many obvious hints when around people that it's not even funny anymore. I mean, him saying to Lulu, "I practice what I preach, and wrote myself a better ending. I made myself who I am and not based on my family." Well if that's not a subtle hint, then I don't know what is. The only thing I warn is if he gives that hint to someone who is able to figure the way he is - which we know there are already some on to him. 

But in that same breath, his expression to Lulu about his family ties was refreshing to see him get off of his chest. It really builds depth and understanding to why he did what he did - even if you want to punch him for it. As I said before when they debuted the fact he could Heinreck - I like the character and direction and acting, but maybe not the decisions.

Now with that said, I'm not quite prepared for him to leave town so hearing the words "I'm handing in my resignation and leaving Port Charles" was not pleasant to hear. But well of course he would because he's done with his Faison business and wants his secret to remain hidden. Just enough go further tip off Jason, perhaps.   

Thank you Sam for openly saying what everyone thinks of Alexis always being at Charlie's. 

Anna is so desperate to make sure "everything is wrapped up" because she doesn't want her mommy secret revealed. That said, Valentine is making it stay around longer - which is perfect for the rest of the town. It caught me off-guard a little in him saying, "I could field vague questions all day but let's cut the chase and ask me what I know about your son with Faison." I knew Anna was mommy, but how does Valentine know? Recall Faison mentioned "Cassadine" and Valentine's shady past. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

So @GeneralHospital was great for a couple different reasons. Perfect Heinreck angst drama, perfection with Jason on so many levels. You should be in love.


Thank you for more tea, Carly. That speech on determination is right on point as you're right - it's time for Jason to make these moments happen, get the boys together, have some fun.....but yes, at the same time, Carly is just equally determined. Hence magic together, and why Jarly will always be amazing.

"Sam knows if you need her for anything, she can always come to you. Sam knows that she's safe for you." Carly continues to speak the truth today.

FYI  For those who want to bitch about Carly's constant reminders, constant pushing, etc etc etc - jump in a lake. I'd rather have a friend who is truthful and honest. I also would like to have a friend that has my back no matter what, is willing to do whatever it takes for me, and be there for countless years now.

  

I don't get why Alexis even asked, "So Sam and Drew have some work to do at Aurora. Is it okay that I brought him?" Jason's response of "of course" was perfect. Clearly we all should know with how Jason is with kids, that he'd absolutely want to spend time with his son. I mean, look at how he lit up seeing him immediately.
Not gonna lie, Jason's eyes swelling at Danny calling him "Daddy" was just amazing. I could've cried, based on everything they've been through - from the five years away, to recusing Danny from Heather.
You also have to love how Jason looked to Carly for re-assurance and her words back to him after Danny left the room, in saying, "He called you daddy. Get used to it.." were just spot on.

  

  


"Sam couldn't bring Danny herself?" "No - work issue." "Or is it because Sam can't trust herself around Jason?" The tea spilling continues.... I mean, let's face it - Alexis knows why Sam couldn't bring Danny herself, and even advised her to keep her distance. Alexis just won't admit those Sam feelings for Jason because of her own objectives with the relationship.

SIDE NOTE - Who can picture Sam and Jason making out in his new place already? I say it's bound to happen as we all know how separation works in soaps.

So it didn't surprise that Valentine mentioned Alex. I also had the thought about Alex being the mother of the Heinreck - as a way for Faison to twist with Anna's head one more way. But of course, we know that's a lie too. Glad Valentine is bringing it out of Anna, regardless, even as twisted as he may be and the fact that I still say he played a role. I mean, Anna was right to ask, "You weren't there. How would you know?" He could've been spying, watching, considering he had a love interest in you.

His response was equally intriguing in saying, "I didn't. I just confirmed that now." It's either really good spy games, or Valentine is involved more than he should be.

"She?" "You had a girl." Is Valentine just twisting this to throw her off of Heinreck, or is that the truth? With that said, is there another child running around, or is Robin's father Faison? Either way, it's a good twist on everything....

The cut from Anna to Heinreck really makes me believe that Valentine is lying about being "a little girl." And of course, Heinreck calls Valentine at this point, as well. As predicted earlier in the storyline, Valentine knows way more than he should.
So of course, Alexis would side with Drew's theory that Jason withheld information. She obviously wasn't there when Jason came with information that night of the wedding. She also didn't prefer Sam partnered with Jason, either. I mean, I don't get how Alexis or Drew can see Jason as the bad guy. I mean, he gave them his penthouse, let them keep his money, let them keep the company they bought with his money without paying a cent in return, and shared every single detail he found out about Faison without their help while they spent time in paradise. But yes Jason is the bad guy here.

That said, Alexis saying, "Maybe just to be safe, you should keep your distance" is for her own motive. Obviously Alexis wants that so Sam doesn't rekindle those feelings, knowing about the kiss. But when you let your relationship dictate your friendships, there's a problem. Oh, and let's see, Sam admitting that the kiss was "mutual" was icing on the cake. 

So Sam's request from Alexis on "can you do something for me?" was clearly not shown. She either requested Alexis to take Danny to Jason's, or to not speak of the kiss to Drew. The irony if Alexis would mention the kiss to Drew considering how she doesn't like #jasam together.
I still say we should explore #Lake again now with Drew's identity in place. Reunite #jasam, reunite #lake together and get rid of Franco. It solves a bunch of problems at once.

I almost laughed in Elizabeth's words in saying, "Your exhibit there helped you confront your past and move past it." Then why we are still talking about Franco's past?

Oh, and Jim saying, "You were always building with blocks. It doesn't surprise me you built a great brand new company." Wait until you hear about how he built that company. And btw, too bad Drew's urge to punch Franco about the "push" wasn't reality.

Another thing - notice Drew's pause before he handed it over? Could he had a quick reflection back? Like we've said, does he remember more than he has pinpointed? And he also hid it, too, which has to make you wonder if he remembers more and has hid those as well. The words from Faison in saying, "Drew knows more than he realizes" are constantly repeating themselves.

I am glad that Michael told Nelle, "The only name that is off the table is Morgan," even if I wanted to smack Nelle's reaction with, "Anything else you want to dictate?" His reasons are right, and it stops Nelle from continuing to mess with the family - at least in that way. 

BTW I am still loving the chemistry between Kiki and Michael. I mean, Michael should take Kiki to the party - or maybe Griffin should go with her. After all, it'd put some stoppable angst to #grava which is ugly. But him saying, "Nelle understands that there's no future between us." I don't think you've shown enough signs of that, Michael.

I can also laugh at Nelle in saying, "She's not going to have any fight in her when I'm done with her." Confidence is high considering first plan sucked.


Exploration of the future - Franco and Drew grew up together. Now if you look at what has happened so far, it leaves the perfect window opening for a Drew/Franco reunion together, against Jason, considering what both have done in recent times in that direction. Then having Drew in love with Sam in the middle? Ah yes, the next arc is forming....

Great job, @GeneralHospital. It was emotional, but well-played on all aspects. Caught the smallest things.

Like usual, Sam has to be there for Drew and pick him up on the way to the church, instead of being there for her friend - esp considering the tension between her and Lulu right now.

Oh, and it was odd seeing Jason not at the funeral. He may not have known Nathan, but you'd think he'd be there for Maxie based on their friendship and visiting her at the hospital. 

Outside of this, though, #GH is doing an absolutely amazing job. The substle glances between Anna, Valentine and Peter are everything story-wise, followed by Maxie saying, "I always knew I'd lose Nathan. He was too good to be true." But really, #GH went beyond perfect in this with having Maxie spend time with Georgie. The closing scene - perfect with Nathan walking away with Georgie. So many small aspects done just right. 
That said, where does the future take us next for Maxie? I actually wouldn't mind a reunion with Spinelli.

General Hospital - February 6, 2018 Episode Reflections

So this may be the shortest blog post that you've ever seen, read, and will ever witness because frankly, General Hospital just wasn't cutting it for me today. There's not much to take away from what happened, especially with no movement in the storyline. There also wasn't much that gravitated me further into the story - which sucks considering how strong the past week and a half has been. Guess we're all due for a dead spot once in a while, right?

I will say the final scene in Sonny finding the money hidden in the cigar case at Mike's was interesting enough. It makes you wonder what Mike is up to, and why he hadn't given the money to curriso, or his contact as specified in the job description. I mean, it's not like we're going to bring back a character for a simple two days like we have witnessed so far, right?

Also, I wonder if Sonny's dad Mike doesn't realize Courtney is dead. From the "I don't know what it feels like to bury a child" yesterday to "not wanting to be a burden to you and Courtney" today, it just seemed odd. Maybe he's beginning to lose his memory and that's the arc they're heading into next here.

Its also intriguing that Kim doesn't know the history of #julexis. She can't read the news? BTW the final #julexis scene - I have to take that as a clue that those two are far from over, no matter how frustrating they are. Sorry, but not a fan here - esp after what Julian did to Alexis. On that note, I think once Kim finds out that Julian tried to kill Alexis, she may run....

Oh and Robin speaks the truth in saying, "Why don't you own up and admit your feelings for Finn?" It'd be better for everyone as Anna and Finn have some of the best fun chemistry that General Hospital has offered lately. 

Now since I really want to offer something positive, I will say that Dante's reflections on Nathan were absolutely beautiful. It's nice to see the brotherhood being portrayed so nicely. If you missed it, here's my sound-off note.

February 5, 2018 - General Hospital Episode Reflections


So today's episode wasn't as strong as what we saw last week - but it's not too bad either.

It was nice to hear Jason's reaction to Carly's lecture - even if it wasn't the response that I wanted. His reaction of "I can't decide what makes Sam happy, so please just leave it alone" continues to fit the character mold, though. Jason doesn't want reminders due to the pain it causes. But if he could give Sam a reminder or two, it may open the door she closed.


Jason's line of questioning for Peter is perfect. If Peter doesn't watch his step and continues answering as he has so far, he may get figured out quicker than he thought possible. I mean, it doesn't take a total genius to put together his answers with the fact that they said the son is hiding in plain sight, Drew knows him, Peter last one to see him, Faison at Crimson rather than Maxie's apartment.  - plus the other clues, and we know that Jason is practically a genius anyway. All he needs is a glimpse at an e-mail, the Ipad, the bullet cover-up, or something else and this is blown wide-open.

Jason can smell a rat because he's right in saying, "Faison didn't make a move unless it was calculated." And notice Jason's reaction to the missing bullet discussion between Peter and the cop? Yeah, that's the next clue we needed. Jason isn't going to be leaving Peter's trail anytime soon.

BTW Closing the conversation that suddenly just throws more suspicion at you, Peter. If you had nothing to hide, you would've continued talking to Jason more. I hope he goes to Sonny about his suspicions, and Carly overhears it. She could easily bring up the Ipad and suspicion from the night it happened.

My funny thing in this? Jordan still knows nothing! Great police work, huh?

If I had to guess - Jason is going to find the USB, Drew will get his memories back, and Franco will be redeemed (again) because it will be found that Drew caused the fall on the stairs, not Franco, and Betsy just said this to further push the envelope.
So it seems that Dream wants to become smart, huh? I had no problem with Sam saying, "I'll call Anna, and I guess Jason...." because it'd be nice to start off with all the pieces. But of course, Drew has to continue to be a bitch and goes, "No, I want to leave Jason out of this for now." So Jason is fair and tells you everything that he knows so far, and this is how you repay him? You wouldn't be this far without him! Can I smack Drew?

I mean, Anna hasn't said a single thing about the investigation to #dream, but yet they want to go forward in going to her, rather than the man who voluntarily out of the goodness out of his heart comes to you despite being thrown shade at each turn. That just makes so much sense.

 

I almost laughed at Jason saying, "We'd get farther along sharing information together." It's more like Drew will learn everything this way because he can't find it himself. But of course, he will be polite for Sam's sake. Cue the eyebrow moment if you don't believe Jason is on to Drew's interesting ways.

But no no, this gets better. Sam goes, "I wish the two of you could find a way to treat each other like brothers, but we both know that won't happen anytime soon." That's only a one-sided deal and simply because Drew is jealous and angry for no reason. Jason has shown all opportunity to co-operate, and I hope that buck stops because Drew doesn't deserve the fairness. It'd also be nice to see Sam talk some sense into her dear hubby, too, but it seems she loses her voice when it comes to anger and decisions with him.  

 "I don't think we'll be seeing much more of each other. Take care." "You know if you need me, you know where to find me." Did you see how much that hurt  Sam to say? Only doing this due to avoiding pain of separate.

 By the way - Separation makes the heart long more, and the reunion that much more enjoyable. πŸ˜‰

"Why would he (Jason) come to answers about Faison?" "I don't know. I hadn't laid eyes on him before that night."  Drew will probably buy these words, rather than further think about situation, and miss the biggest piece of the puzzle.
I got a good laugh out of today, too. Nelle thinking that Carly would make amends after drugging Sonny? Ha! I'm sorry but you never come back from doing a deed like that. And the fact that Nelle says, "As Carly wants to make me look deranged, I'll fight fire with fire." Ha! Good luck with that. Carly can see crazy from far away, esp with Sonny and Jason by her side looking out for her. Why do you think they call them the fab 3?  

"I've decided whether it's a boy or a girl, I'm going to name it Morgan." Is Nelle trying to give Carly more reason to smack her harder later on?

I can't stand Franco (for obvious reasons), but somehow I still stay tuned into his scenes. Maybe I'm wishing Liz will wake up and smell the coffee. And Franco's words, "If there is any a whisper of a chance that I could hurt him, then I need to get away from him" - well I guess you should because we've seen signs with some of your actions since the tumor was removed. Dog cage ring a bell?

By the way, I haven't seen the previews for Tuesday - but the character line-up almost makes me just want to yawn.

General Hospital - February 1 & 2 Episode Reflections

So this episode was great. The scenes with Jason and Sam are to die for, and Faison - he can have a special award of his own after I clean my pants.

Elizabeth's involvement in this episode was pointless in my eyes. I mean, having Drew ask her "I need you to get me into Faison" really sounded stupid after the events on Wednesday. Didn't you just walk into his room, past the security guard, before without a single issue? Really, I'm actually glad that Faison is dead before Drew got a second meeting with him. I'd be worried of him accepting the offer if he got a chance with him completely alone. 

Beyond that, I could've smacked Drew, too. Him saying "Faison is dead, and all the answers about my memories is gone with him." was really very naive. Hasn't he been following along with everything? Oh wait - he ran away on that honeymoon. 

And on that note, not gonna lie. I wish that Drew and Sam had stayed on their honeymoon longer, too. The less I see of them together, the better - and that's solely Drew's fault for turning me that way on Sam. But then again, we wouldn't have gotten the magic that turned into Jasam's special conversation together.

 

It was actually nice to see Sam voice those concerns bout what Jason missed esp surrounding Danny. But to hear her say, "He took away every chance of us having a future together." is a complete lie. You could make it happen, Sam. It's not over, ever. Her words, "He took you away from me and Danny. He took away your voice, he took away your smile, he took away the way you ma-- the way you made us always feel comfortable."  actually rivet more and more as I continue to think about them. She is saying that now she doesn't feel comfortable with Jason - once again showing that she chose Drew because he was the safe route. Where's my evidence bank for a Jasam future?

She continued along those lines, too, in saying, "Our lives would be so much different." Certainly you're right - but it shouldn't define your future. Your own decisions define your future. Your own happiness does. You can still get that magic back with Jason. By taking this easy route that you are with Drew, you're letting Faison win the game in the end. When has that ever been in Sam's nature? 

I almost thought that Sam's PI skills were coming back when she mentioned the randomness of what happened to the twins. It makes you ask questions thou in how Faison used them.

"If we would've helped him, he would've handed over the memories - and I almost wish we would've taken him up on the offer." Clearly she hasn't been following along, either. And clearly Drew is making her go insane.

  
"You don't understand, do you? I know you grieved because I watched it, You don't understand how I grieved for you, and how Maxie is grieving for you. I laid awake last night thinking about it." Like I said yesterday, this may be the wake-up call that we needed for Sam to see that she needs to act on her feelings for Jason.

"I got the miracle that Maxie is never gonna get, and open her eyes and see him again, the way I opened my eyes that night and saw you on the pier." 

"I knew someone was holding me. And I looked up and saw you. The strangest part is I didn't even question it, didn't think it was weird, impossible. I just knew you were there and I would be okay." 
She's always felt safe in his arms even if she says that Faison took away the feeling of being comfortable together. 

"I always hope that you feel that way - that I'm always here, and will do whatever you need." Jason will never, ever, let her go, no matter what she tells him in return. He can sees the signs of a future. He's just not saying anything due to not wanting to force her.

By the way, it always seems that as soon as Jason and Sam get anywhere, Doby has to show up. Can Carly put another plan into action, please?

"He actually found you by accident." I don't believe you just randomly find someone like that. Why do I have a feeling someone else is involved? I mean,  Faison did mention "Cassadine" to Anna. Valentine could easily be connected.
I laughed when Drew said, "You certainly got more out of Faison than me. He wouldn't even acknowledge the flash drive." Well, of course, because we know that you're not as strong as Jason is, Drew. 


Besides that, I wanted to strange Michael - which seems common these past couple of weeks, actually. I mean, I get him saying, "The more we co-operate, the better it is for the baby." But co-existing allows her to gain ample ground into the family. Someone like her doesn't deserve access. She has shown how easily she can take advantage of that before. So really, Michael asking, "You think Nelle is unstable?" was laughable. Isn't that obvious? I mean, she has shown signs for a long time. 

"You're using them to get back into Michael's defenses, and get back into his good graces, and it won't work."   "It already is."  

Nelle's true colors are shining through, piece by piece.
"How crazy does one have to be to spend a year in a mental institution? How crazy are you still?" She's a nutty one, Carly. Don't back down at all.

Seeing Faison's brain removed and the focus on him dead - I applaud General Hospital for their emphasis on that. I was not 100% set to believe that Faison is truly gone because we have seen him come back from the dead before - pointless times. And as much as I hate Franco, I actually chuckled through the entire dialogue. "There's a brain on your desk. How do you get a four-star review on yelp with a brain there?"   

Oh, sidenote - every time I hear the "brain tumor" excuse, I want to scream. Has anybody now taken notes of Franco's actions since then?

Anna's visit to Sonny was a little interesting, too. I mean, yeah, I expect her to follow through with the investigation, but she seemed a little more determined. That said, I'm glad that Sonny called her out on it, too, with "You're bending over your backwards to defend him, and I don't know why." Really, her excuse of "I just want to debrief him without any interference from you or Jason" did her no favors, either. I just hope Sonny sticks to his words of "To hell we're done with this." because he and Jason deserve answers from Heinreck. Oh, and he better investigate further on his evaluation of Anna's behavior because he is beginning to see the light saying, "This is not a juridical matter. This is personal. Why?"

Heinreck went after Jason once - he isn't going to do it twice." "You don't want to be an enemy of mine, not on this matter." Sounds to me more than professional with word she speaks. We know #sason will get their way because Jason doesn't miss a mark.

"I was able to keep the secret. You died not knowing [....] You always kept grasping for a piece of me, wanting a piece of my soul, and you never got it." That confirms my theories! Peter, I found your mommy. And she just took a piece of hair to prove things later on.

So excuse me while I just jumped out of my skin. Faison grabbing Anna takes scare of the entire @GeneralHospital episodes to date so far this year. Literally jumped and froze. ....that was good, real good. Faison is certainly going out with a bang. 

 By the way, General Hospital's medical accuracy has been lacking lately in a big way. First there were the faults in the hospital scenes for Nathan but hello, where's the scar from taking Faison's brain?

So @GeneralHospital was amazing as ever. The emotional tissues were certainly used, but the shade and drama was equally there. Can I also mention how speech of the history went down, too?

I love how Drew shelved every possibility of knowing Heinreck, despite not knowing his own past right now. Thank you Sam for standing up and saying, "Hey, lay out whatever you know about Heinreck - because if Drew did know him, maybe it will spark something." Even she's questioning where he stands right now. Drew trying to avoid is interesting by itself, too, though... 

It was also nice how Drew was just standing there doing nothing, and Sam and Jason are bouncing back and forth in what is happening, figuring out pieces - just like the old days.

Drew's dumbness continues to shine through. He has all of Jason's memories, but yet he asks, "Who are you working with?" I mean, you know this guy inside an out due to the memories and yet you don't realize he is working with "Sonny and Spinelli."


Of course, he only became even more frustrating in saying, "You were supposed to keep me in the loop." Sorry, but you're the one who ran away on a honeymoon in the midst of the drama. But the fact that he didn't even stop there just showed more of character, really. I mean, to ask "Did you know all about this before the wedding?" Does he not remember previous conversations with Jason? I mean, he was not very open to hearing any details when Jason came to see him that night. When Jason came to #dream about Faison on January 19, Drew's reaction was, "I want to hear your plan for Faison, but not today – we’re getting married.”  Then he ran off on his honeymoon until now. But it's Jason's fault that he didn't tell you about this? He tried, buddy. So whose to blame? Drew. But will he accept that? Probably not. 

Really, the constant shade from Drew is getting annoying, and I almost want to smack him - again. You have Jason's memories. You've been living his life. You should know what he's like. He also gave you his house, and gifted the company to you, and didn't ask for any of his money back despite you just taking it under his nose. Besides, he's a victim here - biggest one affected - but yet doing all the work. Appreciation would be nice. But instead, it's obvious that Drew feels threatened. If he and Sam are so in love, so meant to be, wedding just happened - why throw the shade?

Really, at one point, it looked as though Jason was about to go, "Are you kidding me? Really? You want to go there?" and run the shade that he needs to. That said, that glance as Jason left the room was perfect. Glad he finally threw some shade right back at him. 

"Did you tell Drew?" "Yeah, I told him." "What about Sam?" "I told her first." Obviously the only reason he spoke was because of her. I mean, Drew isn't worth time of day. 

"I think she's mostly upset about Maxie and how she's grieving...." "Because that's how she grieved about you." Spill the tea, Carly. It is making Sam realize just how much she loves and misses him.


Can I just say that Laura Wright is my hero? I absolutely love when Carly goes on one of her "truthful, tea" rants. Her words today just beyond perfect. Once again, she has hit perfection. And you can tell Jason knows she's right based on those emotional eyes. 

Carly's lines today were just as strong and amazing as when she gave Sam the same type of speech. I always go back to this because it was just beyond touching.



It's also funny to see some people laugh at Jason's reactions, too. But it's perfect to character history. It is not in Jason's nature to go fight for her. He has always believed "people make their own choices." So if Sam wants to do something, he will let her do it without fighting due to not wanting to force her, inconvenience, or make the situation harder than it is. 

That said, take a look into his eyes. He was resonating with what Carly was saying, knowing that she was right about the love he has for Sam, and the feelings that Sam has shown him back in return. Eventually, Sam will stop lying to herself or Jason will have enough and it'll happen


"If we're going to find Heinreck, we're going to need to find him on our own." I am sorry, but that makes me laugh, considering Drew hasn't done much at all through this story. What makes him think he can outsmart #jaspin and #sason now? But okay, before Drew showed barely interest in finding Faison, his memories, and this entire project. Now that there's a son mentioned - Heinreck, he is set on finding him. What has changed? Do you know all about this son there, Drew? 

I like how Sam was set to stop him in his tracks, though, as she's right in saying, "The problem is we would be doing exactly what u said Faison wanted Jason to do - chasing a ghost." But besides, Sam knows that Drew will probably not find anything, and knows if there was something Jason would have it already. So why waste time?

"He was researching a seal team, and saw a guy that looked like me." "So this happened by accident?" I still don't believe it was so random.

"I know we've talked about this more than once, but I just can't go on living with Jason's memories in my head." Really? Because we haven't heard much about that - but rather just trying to move on as if nothing happened. But now we say that if convenient?

"If your memory was completely gone, you wouldn't had recognized Kim." Like we said - he knows more than he realizes. He just needs to dig deep, maybe work at separating the two lives in his head.

"The memory mapping wouldn't work on Jason because he has brain damage." "Which I don't have....Thank God." I take big offense to that! I'm sorry, but I'd rather take Jason over you any day - even if he may be "brain damaged." He's smarter, more caring, more depth in a person, eyes that capture my soul every time I see them, heartfelt - I could go on and on here.

"You don't need a flash drive. You can remember it on your own." Jason will probably find Heinreck and the flash drive before Drew is able to do that.

Carly's constant eyes on Nelle are a thing of beauty to watch. And I love when Nelle said, "What happened to me is none of your business" with Carly responding, "It is when you're carrying my grandchild, and the baby doesn't give you every right to do whatever you want."  Really, Carly was the queen of shade today if you ask me. Every line that Nelle delivered, she shot one right back - and rightfully so because frankly, the true colors will show. 
  • "You provoked me." "Wow, nothing is ever your fault."
  • "You had no right to go dig in my past." "You did that when you came to town."
Now really, there was some truth in here for Nelle. Ava is right in saying, "Anything in your past that Carly can use against you, she will." But rightfully so, because we should know if Nelle is insane. And by the way, I laugh at the fact that Nelle believes that she can take Carly down. 

Even though they're half-siblings, the chemistry is off the charts with Michael and Kiki. Why wasn't he given someone as special as her instead of the other woman they've given him?

These scenes with Maxie and Nathan are breaking my heart. I feel so bad for Maxie, and what she's going through. The writing for this has been spot on in the emotions, and Kristen Storm's acting has been spectacular. I almost lost it when she said, "I was so relieved, like my heart unfroze." 

 The kiss on the head from Nathan to Maxie and Nina - that's it, cue the waterworks. That hit every emotional button it could've touched. It's also nice to see #GH include doing funeral arrangements. That is something that a lot of shows avoid.

So is it a surprise that Nelle isn't believing a drop of how Michael left there to go see Jordan and Chase? She knows to always be suspi...
